I would like some info on a wireless router... is it a safe thing to have, and what exactly does it do

Its safe if you want to network your PCs together but it doesnt make a good life preserver on a boat if thats what you mean! Just make sure you set the security on it!

if u enable the wireless security than yes it is safe. thru wireless router u can connect mutple computers and go online as well as print wireless. let me know if u need more help
