i am looking for the old movie not sure who is in it. Please help me to find my 85 year old grandfather loves this movie.

The movie is a 1972 film called Deliverance. "Dueling Banjos" was the first scene shot. The rest of the movie was almost entirely shot in sequence. To save costs and add to the realism, local residents were cast in the roles of the hill people.
The movie was shot on the Chattooga River, dividing South Carolina and Georgia. The year following the release of the movie, 31 people drowned attempting to travel the stretch of river where the movie was shot.

a great movie... Deliverance. A great cast, Burt Reynolds (he deserved an Oscar nomination), Ned Beatty (poor guy), Jon Voight, a young Ronny Cox (he played the guitar in the "duel" with the mongoloid banjo player).
Directed by John Boorman.
The original novel, Deliverance, written by James Dickey, is spine chilling.
