I would be thrilled if life was discovered on another planet. It would be one of the greatest discoveries mankind has ever made. However, it would cause some serious problems for many people, since it would lend credence to evolution, and not fit into the doctrines of many religions. One argument I have heard many times against life on other worlds is the fact it isn't mentioned on the Bible.

I'd wonder if they knew how to spell simple words correctly, a skill lacked by many of the people asking questions on Yahoo Answers.

Wonderment and excitement. Especially if it is intelligent life. And maybe a little fear, if that intelligent life has the ability to come to Earth.

I believe that there is life on other planets. Their life began just like our planet did. We grew to live in our atmosphere, they grew to live in their atmosphere.
