The vast majority of the civil war violence is in Baghdad. Why don't we just pull out of Baghdad, secure the perimeter and let them kill each other until there's none left or they get tired of doing it. We have enough troop to secure the city.

they would follow the troops....its about killing AMericans til we lose the guts to fight and pull out

Because Baghdad is the capital, that is the source from where the government controls. You can't do that otherwise they'd start capturing and killing politicians which would destabilize Iraq even more.

Bush can't secure our own border, how would he secure theirs? And the people crossing the Iraq border aren't looking for low paying jobs to take care of their families. But I think this is a very logical solution, and have asked this same question myself.

that would make sense, because then we wouldn't have to fight them in the city, so PC warfare would no longer be a factor
