when you ask a question and ppl choose to lecture you about the situation?
for ex:.the last ? i asked (about marriage, 2 guys etc) some ppl decided to tell me i was no where near ready for marriage(not answering the question AT all) and other things when all in all it was just a RANDOM QUESTION that had nothing to do with me. im 17 ( i KNOW im not ready for marriage) theres one guy in my life.

yes i hate that it's like damn if i wanted a lecture i would have asked my parents. yahoo is here for help not judgment but people will still try to give you way more then their 2 sense and try to spoon feed you their beliefs which hopefully wont work

You have chosen a forum that allows people to speak their mind. Sure it is bothersome when people start reading more into the question than what is really there. But everyone has an opinion and anything you say or ask opens the flood gates. Don't take it personally though. I think most people's answers or comments are well meant.

Well, when you ask questions like that on here, you're sort of setting yourself up for disaster. Yeah - I hate it, too....although some of the questions deserve a good lecturing, you know?

To answer your question: yes, I hate it when people express an unrelated opinion to a question asked. It's a shame there's no screening process for reading comprehension on here.
