I have really bad cramps and when I was in the US I use to take pamprin or midol. I dont see any of these in the uk, but i recently bought one called feminax. I was wondering if it works for anyone. Thanks.

Before taking Feminax Period Pain Capsules:
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Feminax Period Pain Capsules if you:
Are taking prescription medicines.
Are taking medicines containing paracetamol, codeine, metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine.
Are taking medicines which affect the liver.
Have a liver or kidney condition.
Are pregnant or think you may be pregnant
If you need to use this medicine for more than three days at a time, see your doctor, pharmacist or health care professional. Taking codeine regularly for a long time can lead to addiction, which might cause you to feel restless and irritable when you stop the capsules. Taking a painkiller for headaches too often or for too long can make them worse.

Hi yes it works! It stops stomach cramps well. Dont use if you suffer from migraine though doctor advised me not to take this, as it can trigger migraine attacks. Took it once in desperation... result cramp free stomach.... 8 day migraine and 3 days off work in a dark room! Only thing I have found has lessened cramps for me i taking a zinc supplement. Hope that helps!

Yes. It contains paracetamol and codeine for pain relief and also contains hyoscine which is an anti spasmodic.

Give it a try if you can get hold of it.
