I am a fool. Being fooled is just a measure of how much you trust the person lying. Everyone lies, it's a fact but if we are fooled is whether we are willing to trust or not. For me, I don't trust much any more so I'm not as fooled as often.

If we are aware that we are being fooled then why would we let it continue. by asking that question the way you did, you make us asume that most people are fooled some times and vice versa. when in fact this could be the exact oppisite where most are fooled most of the time and some are fooled some of the time.
your question is more like one of those situational specific questions. are you refering to polotics? or something else?
even assuming that the statment in your question is correct, how are we to know how often we are "fooled"? if were being "fooled" then we obviously dont know about it. but maybe im taking this too serious.
the simple answer is the latter, but taking into consideration some of what i said. id go with the first kind
