When guys like "quarterback" open their mouths, I'm embarrassed that I live in the same country. Thankfully, few Americans think as he does; his is defintiely a minority voice.
I just hope when we get rid of Bush next year and start the return to sanity, the world will remember that Americans didn't elect him in 2000. Bush LOST the popular vote. They were calling the election a victory for Al Gore and then the republicans demanded a Florida recount which many people believe was a fraud.
Just remember, many Americans hate him as much as the rest of the world does.

Well, let's see. He started a war, widowed wives, took daddy's away from the kids, and he isn't thru yet. He is going to send some more over to get killed for a war that should have not been started anyway. I'd say he did alot of irreversible things, that is of course, he can give life back to the dead men and women.

It took 15 years for the US military to repair the damage to itself after Vietnam, I think it will take longer this time.
Mainly because we have created 10 terrorists for every terrorist we have caught or killed.
General David Petraeus is breaking basic rules of his own counterinsurgency manual by accepting so few troops for the surge to be effective, as his own manual points out.
But America will never regain the trust of the rest of the world unless we change direction at home. The rabid fear mongering has thrown a terrible pall across the world.
The Republicans have to purge the neo-con and social conservatives and return to traditional conservatism.

It is very sad. The damage caused by the failed foreign policies of this current administration will take decades to undo and repair. The rest of the world now view America as an opportunist, flounting its military to embark on foreign mis-adventures and unnecessary interventions. Unless America manages to earn back the trust of other nations, there is no way that it can assert itself as a true neutral mediator of world disputes. True enough, the future leaders of America will face a very daunting task of repairing its stained reputation.

Anything is reversible, heck in just a few short months George Bush reversed all the good that Clinton had done and spent right back into a budget deficit. Bush started on Jan. 22 and has not stopped yet. The next president, Hillary will have her work cut out for her especially with repuglicans blaming her for everything that Bush has caused.

Probably comparable to the damage done by Kennedy/Johnson with the Vietnam War.
But hey, we're still here!

Seriously, who made this guy a foreign policy expert?
These things take time. Sorry you can't drive through at Jack In the Box, order a number 6, and expect a fully operational, self-sustaining democracy in under 3 minutes.

Nothing is irreversible. Look at what the Germans did in 1940.. now they're back on a level playing field with the respect of all the nations of the world. Don't buy into the hype.

Anyway! America will move on as we always do and personally, if you hate America now chances are you always hated America.
I support Bush and the War on Terrorism. Anyone remember 9/11?
I can tell you this though. America will NEVER help another country after this. All the anti-Americanism has left the American public tired and worn out. We will NEVER help another country again. The world has spoken and they said " America is always sticking its nose into other countries business".....So we will never do it again. Darfur is now every other countries problem. As will be the next Hitler.
Good luck...America will not be there to help you.

who cares! The faster bad things happen in this country with more people suffering for it, the better off we are because it will eventually force us to tear down this out-of-control government.
