EVER? Federer! He dominates more than any one ever has. He's awesome.

Favorite player of all-time was Stefan Edberg.

Lots of people here reckon Federer, but they are missing the point. Federer is a great player but he has no real competition - no-one else who plays in this era will be remembered when they are gone.

Samapras was a better player in almost every respect, the best serve ever and a forehand that Fed can only dream about. Sampras excelled in an era FULL of all-time greats - Becker, Agassi, Muster, Lendl, Edberg. All of these players will be remembered as among the best ever, yet Sampras eclipsed them all so he has to be the best.

However, in terms of TALENT there can only be one choice - the ONLY man to win ALL FOUR grand slam events on four different surfaces....

ANDRE!

Federer is truly the best. The best at present, the best of all time and quite possibly the best there ever will be. Nobody can match FedEx's finesse in tennis.

Richard "Pancho" Gonzales!!! Absolutely the greatest! Beat Everybody!!! Very aggressive, speed, phenomenal power, finesse...he had it all. Long limbs, incredible balance!!! What, at least U.S. Open titles, 4 Wimbledons...he was the ultimate tennis player...if he was playing with today's equipment, not wood and gut, he'd have a serve to smoke Roddick's...and a complete game to boot. Tons of heart. Gonzales!!!

It's either Laver, Sampras, Borg or Federer. Can't make up my mind but I think that Federer, if he carries on for a few more years like he is at the moment, will be the greatest ever.
