I live in Euless, TX. I'm currently going through a divorce too. I asked my lawyer the same question. It's up too you if you want to release your child to the grandparents, your not entitled too. Relax...

It should be in your custody papers whether or not the child is allowed to go with a an age appropirate gaurdian, if you think she's really unfit ( which i doubt) call the father and tell him your expecing him, then you wont be accountable for what he does when he's with the child... if you dont trust her and do inddeed call the father to have come to pick up the child, and you find out the child has been under innapropriate supervision, you could call child protective services, or the police ...good luck

Unless for some reason you dont think its safe for the grandparent to take them, why would it matter if they picking the child up for his father. Divorced couples must absolutely never put the child in the middle or use them as weapons against the ex. The best thing for your kids is to spend time with both of their parents.

No, the order is for him to pick up the child. The court stipulated the father and only the father can do it........
Do not let the child go with anyone else.

you would have to see an attorney to make sure but it may well be that he doesn't see the child at all and the grandparents have the child during the visitation and they may be better than the father.

Not at all. If he can't show up he needs to tell you in advance!!!!

However, do not deny your chid their parent because said parent wasn't good for you. You'd be surprised the number of good parents who are lousy at intamate relationships.
