There was an still is a national debate in my country about icons in schools, whether to remove them or not. I really don't think that icons are what we should focus if not in what conditions the children learn.I m talking here about learning without any heat, freezing, without pcs or proper food.
What do you say? What's more important?

Definitely learning in proper conditions is more important than icons. It is more important than just about anything. Check out Maslow's hierarchy here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Maslow%27s_hierarchy_of_needs.png

According it it, a person needs the basic stuff like food and safety before he or she can even think about improving him/herself.
