Our sky is bright during the day because our atmosphere scatters sunlight. The Moon has no atmosphere to scatter light, so the sky there is always black.

If you mean why does it appear there are no stars in the sky from pictures taken from the moon, it is because taking a picture of a pinpoint faint light object like a star requires an extremely long exposure time to film. If you were to walk outside at night and snap a picture of the starry sky, all youd get would be blackness unless you used a long exposure time. The problem is, stars move across the sky at night due to the rotation of the moon or earth. If you used a longer exposure time, the stars would become blurred. Either way your kinda screwed.

Sky on Earth is what we see because it has an atmosphere. The atmosphere fluoresces toward the blue.
The Moon has no atmosphere hence it does not have a fluorescent sky.Since light is invisible unless there is a reflection in space to bounce the light particles to our eyes , it appears lightless= Dark.
