i own a repair shop,and a few years ago i did a test on this,i had a ford torino at the time with a v-8 in it i took a full tank of gas and let it idle until it used half a tank full,we figured the average was 1-gallon an hour on this vehicle,and that was with running the heater on it,it was my dads car ,and he wanted to know,so we did the test,but it used exactly one gallon an hour,and this was idling at 750 rpm,s.good luck,i hope this help,s.

You might get a few days on a full tank. I got 4 days idle on my diesel during a winter storm black out.
