I do a lot of work with music, photos and video editing. I need a computer that can work well with that combo but I want to try to stay a way from Dell. Please help...

get a PC with a good video and graphics card. i would suggest an ATI video card and a Creative X-Fi sound blaster. DON'T get a mac you cant even upgrade them and their hardware aint too hot at least not for media development.

Your best bet is to find a computer and model that comes with the software you want that works with those kinds of functions. Software is always the most costly when it comes to computers, so be sure you get the software already included with the computer.

Though I'm not a big fan of Apple I have to agree with some of the others.
You sound like a Mac person.

Go with a mac. They are the best for artistic endevors and they have a wider range of software for use.
