The professionl tanning spray is about $35 and lasts 7-10 days so I def. can't afford that. I use to do stand-up tanning, which was cheap, but I'm pretty sure it was slowly killing me. What else is there that I can use? I heard Jergens has some lotion/bronzer that gradually tanned you - I'd prefer something instant. I know sprays are a pain to make even and lotions too. Any advice? What should I buy?

I really like the Neutrogena sunless tanning lotion. You can get it with or without bronzer. Just follow the package directions. It is usually under $10 and you just spread it on every day until you get "dark" enough and then just every 2-3 days to maintain. I like it best because it dries in like 5 minutes and then you can just throw your clothes on. A lot of the others say to wait 30-40 minutes before getting dressed! Can you imagine walking around your house naked 30-40 minutes! It's not like you can sit or lay down anywhere because they'll tan too!

The bronzer is nice because you can tell if you've spread it evenly or not. But it does tend to wear off on your bra a little--washes out nicely though!

Go ahead and get the "medium dark" color, the light color is just enough to make you look alive.

sunless tanners are very sketchy becuase if you don't apply them properly u can end up looking like an oompa loompa.
I think you're better off using a lotion becuase at leas this applies more evenly than a spray and u can control the amount you use.
Neutragena has a good sunless tanning line. Try them

the lotion from jergens is called Natural Glow & it's pretty cool. y not use it inbetween times u tan

There is this stuff that you can buy at Sally Beauty Supply called Savage Bronze. It's a mousse, so it dries allot faster than lotions. It also has a color guide, meaning it's dark when you put it on. This helps you see where you have already put it. Make sure you give it time to develop and shower before you go anywhere. If you sweat or get wet at all(rain etc..) the color guide will run and you will look terrible until you get in the shower. The color guide will also make you look darker then you actually are, but that comes off in the shower.

As always, make sure you exfoliate, moisturize and take your time putting it on, or you will be orange, as with any self tanner.

you ought to attempt the on a daily basis moisturizers that slowly supply you a tan. I enormously advise them! (i take advantage of Hawaiin Tropic's Island's glow, yet I even have additionally heard that Jergen's is large too) in case you employ it for greater advantageous than a pair days in a row you may particularly see a difference. And the cool concern approximately it being slow is that day after right this moment you will discover in case you sort of neglected a niche or positioned too lots some the place and because this is not very great yet, you may purely ideal it with your next day's application. additionally, (as with every varieties of faux tanning) exfoliation and moisturization are significant. the colour sticks much less complicated to drier components of the floor so which you opt to be as tender as a danger!

i have some banana boat sunless tanner that worked good and didnt leave streaks or anything like that, but the smell that it left behind was NASTY! i think you have that with just about any of the sunless tanner though. there is something in it that makes your skin smell. but i just lay in the tanning bed anytime that i feel like i need to be a little bit darker, but i dont over do it either.
