Hi everyone. I wanted to know if anybody out there might know what the biggest size rims i could fit on a 2002 ford explorer? I want to put 24's. Let me know if it's possible. Thank you.

My hubby's heard of 27 inch. If you do big rims, you have to upgrade the brakes.

Well, I don't know why you want to do that cause not only is it going to look stupid as hell, Its going to wreck your trucks suspension. In order to do it properly with out causing damage to not only the suspension and the wheels rubbing the body you will for sure need to have VERY low profile tires that are going to ride like crap. You will need to beef up the springs to lessen the travel of the springs compression. Also, its best that you get heavier based shocks to help this.Your trucks going to look like a refuge from Compton and ride like a buck board! Well, while your wasting all your money on looking like a moron best stop and buy yourself and anyone else you plan on having in your truck a kidney belt.
Grow up and leave your truck the way it is. It don't look cool having big shinny rims.It looks obnoxious!
It has 16's on it now.Best you can go without changing things to handle it both in drive train and body is 18's.
