I would not take my dog to the VA hospital in this area.

They butchered my dad when they removed his prostrate. Then years later, he was in a different VA hospital in a different town. They contacted me and told me that they were going to remove his prostrate!!!!

I had to drive 5 hours to this town to save my dad from needless surgery to remove something that had already been taken of.

As far as I know, the prostrate does not grow back!!!

Good day,

For the most part the VA system is cool, but nobody or entity is perfect. I wish dental was available for returning vets for the first 2 years following discharge and that form used to submit to VA for the clothing allowance was readily available. Other than that va is all good. They even have free coffee and the employees at the Savannah Clinic are nice, courteous and professional. God bless Florida and Mississippi.

I work on hospital equipment and can tell you the local VA's equipment is abysmal. They have sterilizers that are older than me, and just limping along. I've seen gaping holes in the ceilings of the OR, big lawsuit if crap falls from the ceiling into an open chest cavity. Too much to list actually. I'm done.
