Can anyone help I need to take off surplus (danish oil) applied to my shelving unit, thanks?

I would use a weak solution of washing up liquid in water( this will emulsify the excess oil) make sure you cloth is just damp not wet!

Use a hot iron and kitchen roll. The heat will draw to oil out.
