March 20th in 2003 at 5:30 AM Iraq time. It was still March 19th in the U.S. when the missiles were launched. Special Forces went in immediately afterward (or perhaps before? they're pretty secretive). U.S. and British forces had taken the airport at Basra by March 23. U.S. forces reached Baghdad by April 2.

I believe it was March of 2004. They were first sent to Kuwait to get set up, and sent to Iraq approx. a month later.
