Confessions of a Shopoholic, Hotel New Hampshire, Pride and Prejudice and La Prisonairre (its english!) are all really good.

Confessions of a Shopoholic: about a woman and her life and adventures in shopping. A little like sex in the city or bridget jones diary.

Hotel New Hampshire: about a crazy family that decides to turn an old school into a hotel, and then move to russia... I would tell you more but it is WAY to easy to ruin this book!

Pride and Prejudice: a classic novel and the basis for every love story plot ever written. It is really well written and easy to read (it is easy to get past the 19th C language)

La Prisonairre: the true story of Malika Oufikur (I think thats how you spell it). She was adopted by the king of a country in the far east. When her father tried to assasinate him and get her back, she was sent with her family to live in a prision that was HORRIFIC. They were there for 20 years and were the only people to have ever escaped from this prison. It was absolutely amazing.

I really enjoyed The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It's about a hunt for Dracula because he's "still alive and real". I didn't read Dracula first, so it doesn't really matter. It's a adventure type novel. Sort of like The Da Vinci Code but not that far-fetched.

Wow so far the answers to this question have sucked. Don't listen to them, you will regret it (unless you want to hug a box of tissues and call your girlfriends after to discuss why men suck). UTERUS PICKS...I know this and I am a gurl! lol The Historian is the most overrated nove l ever! It was pretty lame. Like Bram Stoker had a child with Fabio and their love child wrote this book lame. Try the Dean Koontz Odd Thomas series. Its about a boy your age who can see (but not talk to )dead people. Definatly one of my favs. Stephen Kings Cell was okay, starts out in the forst 25 pages. Uber creepo. Carl Hiassen Skinny Dip is funny. Man throws ex overboard on a cruise ship, she lives and partners up with a shut in to get revenge. Dean Koontz Velocity is one hell of a ride as well. Man has to choose who lives and who dies and has only hours to make the decision. Michael crichtons Jurassic park (way better and different from the movie). Timeline by him was cool too. The ultimate funny book...Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimon. Devils serpent lives on earth and must bring forward the apocolypse, but he does not want to. He is having too much fun!

Good luck tomorrow. Look any of these books up on amazon to get a synopsis.

Try Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. They are excellent tales.
