i seen it on tv they also call it a fight to the death cuz it sticks to your teeth and throat and stuff and if u dont kill it by chewing it hard, u may choke and it will kill you

I think they're over paying. An old friend of mine is from Korea and she ate it all the time (but she also snacked on bags of little dried up fish that still had the heads and tails). The octopus you eat isn't exactly alive, it's just a piece cut from a live octopus so the piece is still moving. My boss got some at a restaurant one day and I know he could not have spent more than a few dollars on one piece.
If people are swallowing them whole, I haven't heard of that!

Yes they do. It's an expensive epicurean delight in parts of Asia. People also eat dog, bugs, grubs, monkey brains (from the skull) and all sorts of other things that you might think gross but are perfectly natural to them.

Yes, it’s a Korean delicacy. It’s really nice it just looks disgusting.
I heard that in Beijing they eat grasshoppers, gross.

No, but in this magazine my husband got me(i like sick sh!t) called bizzare, not like Harpers Bazaar, but like Rotten.com bizzare, it shows women doing things with octopi that EW, I just never wanted to know!
