Sachin will retire after this worldcup.That doesn"t meen that he isone of the best bat as considered earlier.He is being continued in the team for BOOSTing the morale of the team.And also that it does not meen that heis unfit.He had and have the potential to play innings to remember.But he should give way for the young ones to live upto his standards

sachin is struggling..... he should retire after the world cup even if india puts up a poor or good performance...
it is the right time for him to retire before people loose respect for him

I think he is certainly over the hill. He himself admitted his body is not as good as it used to be.
I feel he may retire after the worldcup.
I wish sportsmen do not feel shy of playing intermittently in the downward path of their career. They should not have to be selected for past performance. When younger ones challenge them enough with current performance, they may be dropped, and reselected when the need arises. In this phase, they should not mind getting dropped and included as the need arises. If there is a way players can announce semi retirement, it may not hurt their ego.

He should probably retire after the world cup. He's not the same force as he was before.

i think that he has another world cup in him...he can retire after 2011 world cup....this way he can equal the record of Javed Miandad of most world cups ...Miandad played in first 6 WCs,,,,i just hope that India doesnt lose to cricket like him any soon....he is the best,,,

It is known only to him. The members in the selection panel does not forget him untill he hangs off his cricketing kit.
