As "Bigfoot Hunters" they are required to take an oath of celibacy to ensure that their sole focus is on Bigfootery...it's very similar to the oath that Loch Ness Monster Hunters are required to take except the accent is quite different. It's much easier to be a "Bigfoot Hunter" today than it was in the late 1800s. At that time, all of the hunters had to be castrated as a part of their rite of passage into the Bigfoot Hunter's Society (BHS). Today that is not the case....

Of course you know this but you maty have a blindspot in the area...
BigFoot Hunter's are fighting a losing battle. Why hunt something that is already collecting a check from hollywood.

Well they are out at night a lot so dating could be only in day time and most people work
