1. Can you think of a better way to meet hot girls?
2. Scholarships to college.
3. It is a competitive sport with a national championship held every year in Florida.
4. Not a lot of competition from other guys.
5. You get to attend a lot of big games for your school - both home and away - and in college the school pays for lodging, transportation, meals, etc.
I would advise you not to question a cheerleaders sexuality to his face. Those guys are generally very muscular from a lot of working out.

They probably join for a variety of reasons, and being around nice looking women is probably high on the list.
I knew a guy in college who joined the cheerleading team, and a big part of his reason for joining was to hang around cheerleaders. He definitely wasn't gay!

I agree with the first answer. I don't care how many girl's butts you get to grab, it is very unattractive and makes me think they are gay. Sorry to offend anyone, but that is my opinion.

enjoy cheerleading,
want physical attention from the girls and they can look up if at the bottem of the triangles.
probly the latter, they probly just want some attention from girls couse they carnt get it any other way

Dude, think about it... Their main purpose is to lift girls above their heads and they also get to touch them in all kinds of inappropriate places, the real question is why don't all guys join cheer leading squads

some do it on a dare. some to be near a girl on the squad. some because it is fun for them.

they like to stomp their feet- boogie to the beat' - turn around touch the ground -and wiggle it .just a little bit , - they can't grab them they 'ed get them for sexual harassment.
