Hi,

I have a Tomtom ONE V2.

Most people seem to have maps on a 1gb SD card. I've seen 4gb SD cards on the net for £20.

Is the Tomtom One V2 compatible with 4gb and maybe even 8gb SD cards?

Thanks for your help.
:)

Well I presume you have the same problem we do in the states. Call the store or site where you plan to buy your SD card and ask them what there return policy is if your SD memory card does not work on your specific phone brand and model.

A nice little thing to know is that not all brands are compatible with all phones. In theory, one 2 Gb brand may work on your phone, whereas another 2 Gb brand will not work on it.

I have a Sprint PPC 6700 and I called Crucial.com and they said if the 4 Gb mini SD card does not work, then I would get a money refund.

You have to watch this as some places will only EXCHANGE the memory card for a defective one and not give you any money back. Here in San Antonio, Texas, there is one store that sells a 2 Gb mini SD for $107 and then on the internet I can get a 4 Gb for $99, or a 2 Gb for as low as $27. A lot of money difference.
