It seems easy enough to pull the old one out and drop the new one in, but i'm not sure about the wiring. I have replaced a few light switches, nothing more complicated than that.

Just pay attention to what is unhooked and rehook in reverse

Is the current stove top gas or electric? If you are replacing an electric with electric, you can do it. Be sure to turn off the power first. Good luck.

I don't get it. How do you get a 64cm X 520cm cooktop into a cut-out that is only 62cm X 48cm. If you converted these dimensions into inches I could take a look around for you.

Most of the top exposed ones slide right into the power receptacle. They are plugged in.
