I know. It stinks. They get the rating and you can't say a thing!

If you find it terribly offensive without proper warning, or if they really misrepresented the movie, then you SHOULD demand your money back within the first half hour, and see the manager. They can report back to the producers, etc.

If the manager refuses, get the address from the DVD if you can't get it before that comes out, send them a copy of your receipt, and maybe see if a witness will write a note for you to send along with your letter of complaint. Make the letter business-like, be firm yet polite.

Tell them how much you liked their other movies, and list some of them.

After all, this is a product, and they are not allowed to misrepresent it! When they sell you a ticket, you're both entered into a contract. You bought the goods, and the goods should be as stated.

In a movie theater you possible can if you walk out early. For a movie rental you can't... although, I rented a movie for kids at camp and it was awful. We even had to turn it off because there were sexual comments in it, and it was rated PG!! I returned it to the video place and complained. They gave me my money back but said, "Oh, we're not responsibe for the ratings." You should be able to complain about movies to someone who'll make a difference.

Probably could try if you leave pretty early in the film. If you wait until it's over, you are going to be out of luck and the 20 you dropped to watch the POS movie.

Yes you can. If Stan and Kenny from South Park can get their money back from watching The Passion so can anyone. LOL

Loved that episode

yes, you can get your money back, it helps your case if you walk out of the movie early on rather than watching the whole thing and then wanting your money back, thats like eating a whole big mac and trying to get your money back, it is much much harder to pull off.

good luck!

You can always ask the manager of the theatre to refund your money. He/she may refuse, but it does not hurt to ask.

if your at a movie theater, then i dont think you could do that.

if your renting or buying a movie, i believe it may be possible.

thats why you keep receipts.
