Look in your local classifieds, especially if you have one that has a extensive list of car parts. Lots of areas have free weekly newsletter type want ad rags and these can be great. Often you can find wheel and tire combos that will save you hundreds of dollars. If the tires are what you want, but the wheels attached are not, then remove them and resell the wheels! Hope this helps.

They tend to be more prone to failure if the pressures are not right on some condtions and at some speeds. So if gong to spend all that money on the rims u should bite the bullet and buy a good new set of tires to

At any tire shop that sells used tires. Do keep in mind that what they are selling you is a tire that someone else had replaced for some reason...

The key is maintaining the correct overall diameter. 2005 Scion XB's came originally with 185/60r15's so you could sell your 17 inch wheels and tires and replace them with the original size. You could probably find someone that would want to trade their OE wheels for your aftermarket.

Major tire dealers have used ones occasionally in tire racks in their stores. New car dealers often sell "take offs". I'd start there.

Used tire shop or a salvage yard. Look in the phone book.
