Ok, I already have it sort of planned out; I'm going to take her out to dinner and I want to rent a limousine. My question is about the limousine.....
It's expensive ($85/hour+15% gratuity) so I want to get the most out of it. I really can only afford 1 hour because dinner is going to cost around $70 and I want to buy her some flowers and a huge teddy bear (another $100).
Help me decide, should we:
- ride around in the limo for an hour and eat dinner afterwards
- ride to and from dinner in the limo (this may take longer than an hour though)
- eat dinner first, then surprise her with the limo picking us up
- your idea?
i ask yahoo answers for everything, sorry im addicted and i can't decide on my own! i need a second opinion. i know my girl will be happy with whatever i do, but i love to impress her.

i would probably ditch the flowers and teddy bear before the limo, because she has never rode in a limo and i can tell she would love it more than anything. maybe just dinner, limo ride after and a big teddy bear

I vote for "eat dinner first, then surprise her with the limo picking us up" because it saves a nice surprise for last. And you can have a romantic ride to cap off a wonderful evening.

skip the limo..... that's just wasted money.
celebrate all day -- start with little stuff and escalate to the dinner and the teddy bear.
1. a card and a flower in the morning.
2. a love note/poem in the afternoon (maybe have her find it on her car windshield or in a pocket.
3. a bouquet of flowers when you pick her up.
4. a wonderful dinner in the evening. -- skip the limo all together. if you want to spend money on transportation, how about a horse and carriage ride after dinner.
5. a big teddy bear at the end of the date.
celebrate the day all day -- that would be very memorable, romantic and quite touching -- a lot more than a 1-hour limo ride.

WOW!
I hope that she appreciates such a thoughtful man!!
I would definitely go with the limo after dinner and ride around for an hour, maybe sipping champagne?
Very good idea...please call my husband and let some of that romantic nature rub off on him...lol
Hope that you two will have a wonderful Valentines day!
Sorry...on second thought...the timing might be a problem when doing it after dinner and you probably don't want to rush her just because the limo is coming. Limo ride first and then dinner!
The Teddy....just flowers is better - I think!

Take her out to dinner first, give her the flowers. Surprise her by having the limo pick you guys up.. keep the teddy bear in the limo.. so that when she goes to sit down it will be waiting for her.
I love surprises and I'm sure she will too..
Just have FUN

i would skip the teddy bear and the limo. bring her flowers when you pick her up to take her out for dinner. use the money you save on the teddy and limo and buy her a nice bracelet or a locket with your picture already in it. and don't forget a valentine's day card.

Give her a card and flower in the morning, in the afternoon give her a dozen red roses and then that night take her to a romantic restaurante, give her a necklace or bracelet and then after the dinner take her in the limo.

Well if you know that she will be happy no matter what you do. Save the money you were going to spend on the limo and go do something you both enjoy doing.

If you don't have that much money, why the hell are you spending it for a girl? Why don't you find something creative to do instead of blowing money that may not go towards your future. Think if you're going to be with the girl much longer and then decide. Limos aren't that cool anyways, borrow a sweet car or truck.
