It has already been proved that the Moon IS made of cheese by Doctors Wallace and Gromit.
They have shown the footage of that proof on a number of occasions!
It apparently tastes similar to a nice piece of Wensleydale!

Cheese is a solid food made from the milk of cows, goats, sheep, and other mammals. Cheese is made by curdling milk using a combination of rennet (or rennet substitutes) and acidification. Bacteria acidify the milk and play a role in defining the texture and flavour of most cheeses. Some cheeses also feature moulds, either on the outer rind or throughout.
So if moon is made of cheese, one of the following needs to be there; cows, goats, sheep, and other mammals, I don't expect to find any of these animals there residing permanently as there is not air to breath. Secondly there should be bacteria or moulds these normally need an earth like environment which is absent, but there might be microbes that can service on these harsh environments. So fermentation might not be a problem, but milk of a mammal is still needed to fermentation and unfortunately no mammal can live in moon yet, so there is no milk, so no cheese. If there is not cheese on the moon, no part of the moon can be made from a substance that doesn’t exist there can it? Unless some astronaut on moon left their cheese sandwich behind from their picnic up there.

It depends on how you define 'cheese'... it it must be a dairy product, then perhaps the chances are slim, but if you would be happy to think of cheese as something that has matured from a more pure substance, then maybe even the rocks that are there are a kind of cheese?
If you are determined to think of cheese as a dairy product, there is still hope... we know for sure that there is a record instance of a cow jumping over the moon. It may be possible that other cows have made the same jump- if so, maybe one of them landed on it... if that happened, then dairy-based moon cheese could occur.

Unless someone can prove the existence of Galactic Space Cows, I'm not inclined to think the moon is made of cheese, even just a little.

Did you mean just a bit of the moon or is it just a bit possible? A philosopher once stated you are free to believe the moon is made of green cheese but I am under no obligation to believe you.

Cheese is not a naturally-occurring compound, so I would really have to be doubtful that the moon could be made of it.

No, because there are no cows on the moon, so it is impossible, besides, the cheese would have biodegraded, so no
