I have lived in Cleveland, Ohio all my life. It is the poorest city in the States currently. The traffic is dreadful, the potholes huge. The people are down to earth, yet there is a seething hostility off of everyone. I believe we are clever, and full of common sense, but as far as book smarts, honesty, and overall hospitality we are seriously lacking. Many of our businesses are shutting down, and I believe we are the seventh most dangerous place to live in the states. Though I don't have any problem with violence, many in my city do. We are a melting pot! All races and religions. The best and worst of each. I'd say mostly black and white though. WE have been called the mistake on the lake. Lake Erie caught on fire. WATER ON FIRE! WTF? That's not the only body of water polluted around here. Small swimming lakes, and ponds have friendly signs saying "Swim at own risk, Pollutants and toxic chemicals in water". All our sports teams are jacked up. We have the right players, just not the right strategy. Oh well, She is my city and I love her regardless. I hope we do better though :o)

San Diego, population about 1.3 million, right on the border with Mexico, probably about 60 % white, 25 % Latino, the remainder Black or Asian. Its got 2 bays, a big one the Navy uses for a couple of big bases, and a small one thats recreational. Nice weather most of the time. People like to surf, swim, run, all kinds of outdoors activities. The ocean is warm enough to swim in without a wetsuit for about 6 or 7 months a year. 2 big universities, U. Cal San Diego and San Diego State U., and a Catholic college, U. of San Diego. Its a nice place. Palm trees everywhere.

I'm from Aberdeen, Scotland, oil capital of Europe, also known as the Granite City as most old buildings are made of granite. Third largest city in Scotland. People are very friendly, surrounded by countryside, full of history, house prices are very high. Only downside is the weather, we have a beautiful coastline and Aberdeen is the gateway to the highlands.

Local City was famous for Jute, Jam and Journalism. All the jute mills are gone, no-one makes jam there anymore and the journalism is getting bigger.

It is a small town - 39,000. We are blessed to have several industries in the town. Varied ethnic backgrounds. Good place to raise children-good schools; good shopping. Close to bigger cites with all they have to offer. Good support systems for those who need one; magnet hospital.
