Buy yourself a "Mister-Bottle" and fill it with 1/4 vinegar, and 3/4 good purified water.... (only because where I live our water is so hard it leaves rings and water marks in every water area)... Mist your tub with plenty of the shaken up bottle of vinegar/water!!! And get you a good scrubber, to scrub it down with, and there you have it!!! By the way the vinegar smell will disipate! You can also use this same solvent on Stinky shoes, (like if you have boys with foot odor) open up the tongue, on wash days, after you've stripped there shoe laces to be washed, and mist the whole inside of the shoes, and keep the tongue way out, for air to get in, to dry them, or put them on your porch, or somewhere to where they can get air, and believe me this takes away the shoe's odors, completely!!! And again the vinegar disipates! Also, when your doing laundry, and your clothes are in the dryer, and lets say the phone rang before you could get them out in time not to wrinkle...... Just take and hang them up on a hanger, and spray the mister vinegar solvent, and it will take out the wrinkles, but it has to be from straight out of the heat!!! It is a "Wonder-Solvent!!" Oh, also, for your bathtub, you can also buy lots of boxes, of baking soda, and use this as a Comet, abrasion to scrub your tub with!! Same thing for whitening your teeth, without all of the chemicals they put in all those whiteners on the store shelves!!! Good luck to you!! And what a wonderful thing your doing to keep things environmentally safe!!! Hats off to you!!! Smile!!!

There are a few options:
Baking soda is a great scouring powder and absorbs odor

Imus Brands "Greening the Cleaning" is chemical, but non toxic and not odorous like ammonia based cleaners

A more expensive way but healthy is to use a vapor cleaner. These use super-heater water to dissolve and blow away dirt and grime. The thing is, you need to have a decent quality one...the little pitcher looking ones are worthless because they don't hold much water and even less pressure. But the vapor cleaner can get into nooks and crannies, and dissolves dirt really well.

Well, bleach, it is a chemical but not as bad as others, it is the most safe bathroom cleaner, and the best. Other than that, lemon juice and vinegar, as well as baking soda for the bathtub. You can buy orange cleaners at most stores.

If you use bleach mix 1/4 bleach to water is a spray bottle!

Step1 BASIC DISINFECTANT/CLEANSER: Fill a spray bottle 3/4 full with water (I use distilled so I don't have the mineral deposits). Add 1/2 to 3/4 cups of vodka (grain alcohol). I use grain alcohol so I have the scent of the essential oils, not alcohol. Add 4-6 drops of favorite essential oils (up to 4 varieties.) Lavender, lemon and pine are a good blend, and relatively inexpensive to use. Step2 FLOOR CLEANERS: This is more a recipe for vinyl flooring. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for hardwood. Mix 1/4 cup white vinegar in bucket of tap water. Add 10 drops of pine, lemon, tea tree or other EO. Step3 VACUUMING: Add a few drops of a chosen EO to a vacuum cleaner bag or to the water pan if it has one of those. Step4 WINDOW CLEANER: Mix 1 cup white vinegar with several drops lemon oil in spray bottle. Step5 LAUNDRY: Disinfect laundry (and kill the dust mites in your bedding... the ones that don't drown anyway !) Add 15-20 drops of tea tree oil to your wash water or liquid detergent. Step6 LAUNDRY (DRYER): Add a few drops of a chosen essential oil to a wet washcloth (make it an old one, oils stain usually.) This will softly scent your drying laundry. It will not soften however. To achieve this, also add 1-2 tennis balls. (a much less toxic choice than fabric softener sheets!) __________________ Good basic disinfecting/cleaning essential oils are: Lavender, tea tree, pine, lemon, grapefruit, spruce, lemongrass, and eucalyptus. This list is also some of the least expensive of the essential oils. Be sure to get true essential oils, NOT fragrance oils. Fragrance oils are synthetic and useless for disinfecting and cleaning.

Borax (you find it on the laundry isle) works great! The exact ratios are on the box, but this is non abrasive no icky smells, and doesn't irritate the skin!

I had problems with cleaning my bathroom and I tried Kaboom bath and tile which works really well. Try that and see if that helps.
