Yeah there was a lot of things I didn't appreciate until I got older... but be spanked by a middle-aged woman never happened to me and never will.

Well, maybe not the spanked part. But nap time, definately.
...and those little rectangular pizzas at lunchtime...
...and the smell of play doh and not having to worry about cleaning it out of the carpet later...
...and nap time in the middle of the day. LORDY do I miss nap time...
...and not necessarily school related, but school-aged. I used to HATE it when I got socks and underwear for Christmas and birthdays. ... I would LOVE to have someone getting that stuff for me now!
...did I mention nap time in the middle of the day? Just turning the lights out and curling up in the middle of the floor?

No. With me it's just the reverse! I thought I was really smart then.
It wasn't until I was older that I realized I was never even taught how to balance a check book or what the world was really like!
I had to pay good money for that in later life.

I truly miss my 7th grade teacher, Mr. Houser, he with the dried spittle in the corners of his mouth. Good days my friend, good days. Or my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Peterson, who looked like a goddess and I adored until she wrote on my report grade that I had no art ability whatsoever, being as Art was her favorite thing and she was very talented it crushed me to my very bones.

No- I hated school, now that I'm older, I wish I could go back & then I'd appreciate it.(but I did graduate at least.)

if i could do it all over again, i would do it completely different than what i did.
but i did graduate though, so i much have been doing something right.
i graduated high school in 2005.
