I can think of two things. Perhaps you are having a case of which browser is default. If you are using a Windows OS, you are highly likely to have it (IE). Open IE, then you should go to the File menu and go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs and you should see there is IE is defaulted or not.

But then again, perhaps you don't have IE altogether, which in this case there are two options. You can download it, or you can "enable" it. First of all I believe one of the answers here included a link to download, but if you don't have a net connection (well, you should, as this is your question lol), but anyways a Offline way of getting Internet Explorer is to go to your control panel and double click the Add/Remove programs icon. Then click on the Add/Remove Windows components and voila, it should be there and you should be able to see if it is checked or un-checked.

Lastly, if you are using MAC OS X, sadly my brother told me that IE is no longer supported. Which, would mean the one in my powerbook is antique....lol :)

Note: I am using Win XP

If you are using Windows XP, Internet Explorer is deeply integrated into the OS and cannot be removed completely. Therefore, you should have it already. If you are using another OS, you may need to download special software or a special version of IE to make it work properly. If you are trying to update to IE7, you should be able to just run Windows update to download it with the available updates -- unless your Windows version is not genuine.

first specify the OS u are using

if u have winxp it would by default load internet explorer on your pc

click start and all programs menu then u can see list of programs that are loaded to your pc

if you find IE icon in the list then right click on that and create short cut to desk top

if u donot find in list of programs then put OS installation CD and go to control panel and click add or remove programs

then click add windows components you would be prompted with a list in that click IE and install. windows does it automatically for ur use.

thank to windows

you need to download it from microsoft. YOu need to know what computer your on to get the correct version. You also will need admin privledges on your computer to install it. So if you don't have them, you won't be able to.
