ok krishna, let me give you the brief,

videos, even though they're all called videos, they have different formats to them, ( avi, mpg, rm ) etc, and the one and only format that ipod would be able to read and play is called "mp4" format.

any videos in that format will suit into ipod as long as they're not more than 30GB.

VCD's and DVD's are different formats of video and you need a software, commonly called "Ripper ( which will copy the movie and save it as one file )" and these rippers offer you to choose the format of video you want it at the end. of course you have to chose mp4 since its the only format that plays in ipod. this might take even upto hour or more depending on how fast ur computer is. once this is done, ur ready to upload ur video,

to upload videos, you need the ipod software called "itunes". The CD that your ipod came with should have this software and some other software that you will need to use. please install the software as the first step.

now, when you connect your ipod the "Itunes" software should come up automatically, and if doesn't, no problem, juz go to all programs and launch it by urself and wait for it to detect the ipod.
now all you have to do is, "Drag and drop it onto the playlist" of your ipod. you should have the video in your video playlist in ur ipod by now

its easy as that, good luck , hope my answer helped.

Well, I can tell you one thing, I use iTunes for down loading videos and

ECT, but I have never downloaded anything but music to my iPod60GB Video.

I am still learning how to use iTunes.

I found out the hard way that, I can't download

Videos from the ones I own to my, 60GB iPod.

The DVD's that are not on iTunes will not download.

Useless you have to subscribe to iTunes, so you can download:

movies, games, music, ECT.

I know that in the first place, I did not want to subscribe, but I had

no choose, so I couldn't get to download any, movies, music, ECT

In the first place. Unless, there may be another way.

If you downloaded itunes and installed it.

First, double click on the itunes icon,

then, you will see the field where all of your muisc will be.

Then, look to the left of the screen, you will see a list of Categories.

This is the (Library) list order there in: Music ,Movies ,TV Shows , iPod

Games ,and Radio.

Each one is am icon on witch you can click on with your mouse.

These are where you can set your favorite entertanment list(s) for the

whole family to enjoy.

The Movies icon is where the Movies go.

The TV Shows icon is where the TV Shows go.

The iPod Games icon is where the iPod Games go.

Plus if you click on the Radio icon you can listen to live music from

There are three more things,

The 3(Three) buttons on half way to the top of the left corner of the

screen are:Rewind ,Play and Fast Forword.

To the right of the Fast Forword There is an Volume Control.

Now, to the Subscription part. First in your web browser, type in the
