I have a laptop computer it has built in internet. I have a wireless high-speed connection that normally works fine, but recently my computer keeps saying there is no internet connection (even through it is still connected) so I have to hit refresh to get the web page to come up and it always does, but it is constant every other website says there is no connection, so I refresh and it works. It is just really annoying, anyone know why it is doing this. I ran a virus check and there where no viruses??? Please help me figure this out. Thanks

Try moving your laptop to an area closer to your router. If that doesn't work, try giving your network a reset, by:

1. Unplugging the router.
2. Hold the reset button on the modem for at least 5 seconds.
3. Wait for all the lights to stop blinking/flashing on the modem.
4. Plug the router back in.

If this doesn't work you may want to call the company who made the router.

You may need to restart the wirless router. Just unplug the power cable from it and reconnect to start it back up.

Also try right-clicking on the connection icon and choose Repair. This runs through several processes that may help.

How far from your wireless router is your computer? Chances are you may have moved from a location of good reception to a location with worse reception.
