The indonesia earthquake the killed all those people most were women waiting for the fishing boats to come home.
The CNN reported 80 % of the dead were women.
China where the majority of the population of the earth is has a high percentage of males due to the one child law.
Africa for the same reasons has a higher precentage of males.
There is no social security in these areas and women don't support elderly parents your sons do. So every effort is made to raise a son for support in your old age. When food is scarce it goes to the male population first. More women are murdered and commit sucide. The middle east, India and other middle eastern countries put more emphassis on male children and they are fed and treated better.
Males have access to better health care than the women.
While living in the middle east I heard them say when a building was blown up. Which gives you an idea of their thinking.
"Most of the dead are women so it wasn't as bad as it looks."
Knowing how Americans feel about women they use them to hide behind with out feeling any remorse.
Women in America out number the men by a big percentage.
All the women in the world are in the States.
Women are prostituted as teenagers and fall victum to VD and AIDS. Men do to but have better health care. So have a better chance of survival.
Women in Africa are treated the worst. Starved, beaten sold to the highest bidder. Openly prostituted sold as children.
Well the middle east they were pretty brutal. They look down at the ground when their husbands speak to them and jump to do his will. Or they slug'em. They talk to an American soldier they get beaten almost to death with a stick. Caught kissing or holding hands they are killed. Sex out of marriage it is an honor killing. Even the mother kills for that. But the men have numerous women they have sex with and that's okay.
They can even rape the other religions women with out charges but she dies for adultry. Even if she is raped.
That is totally wrong about more men killed in war. The civilian dead and the women killed in Iraq were more than the men.
