Sex is pleasure. I would want to know your age before really answering this, but I will anyway. If you are the right age, and I mean at least a high school graduate, I personally feel that you need to have sex before marriage. Sex plays an important role in your relationship. If you can't satisfy each other in the bedroom, it will lead to other problems outside the bedroom. I have never felt that we were designed to physically love one person and only one person. I think sex is human nature, and is very pleasurable. I grew up in a catholic family that believed that sex was just for procreating, its no wonder everyone had large families, they were to embarassed to admit that they enjoyed sex, so they used they "wanted a large family" as an excuse. The sin is not following your heart, your dreams, wants needs and desires. I am not saying to whore around, I don't mean that. Make sure that if you have a physical relationship, that you truly care about the person you are sharing that with.

I speak from experience...
I didn't wait to have sex and I REALLY wish that I did.
I know that it would mean so much more if I had waited and only had sex with him. I would love to have shared that only with my Husband.
If you are religious then you do know that it is a sin to have sex before marriage.
You may not be thinking about it now but in the future you may regret it.

If you have sex when there is even the smallest doubt as to if you should or shouldn't do it, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Only have sex when you are sure that you are ready...and that the relationship you are in is ready for it as well. Sex is not a game... it may feel good physically, but it can cut and hurt deep mentally and emotionally when it is done at the wrong time or with the wrong person. This is why religion teaches that it is a sin... sins are not bad things... sins are things that are bad for you... they can hurt you in the end. Look at it... if you kill.... if you commit adultery... if you steal something etc..... these are sins.... and the outcomes of these things are never good. God identified sins for us to protect us from hurt and harm, not to keep us from having fun.

I think 1 Corinthians 7:36 addressed this by stating premarital sex is not a sin so long as the man marries you.

Also Exodus 22:16,17
Deuteronomy 22:25-27
Deuteronomy 22:28,29

Mention situations where pre marital is not a sin, they all have the same thing in common that the man and woman must become husband and wife. Also it gives no indication as to how long after sex they must marry only that they must.

Well, i got to a catjolid\c school so i have to hear this stuff all the time.

Having sex before marrage is a sin. And so is artificialy stimulating sex (mastubation). But sex is ment to be enjoyed. Its not a sin to have it for pleasure, if your married.
If you feel you cant wait. then thats your choice. If its not your believe, then i guess its not really harmful to you. If your parents dont want you to then just try not to get caught.

everyone will have very different opinions about this. my husband regrets that i didn't wait till our marriage. however he didn't wait and doesn't see anything wrong with that."it's different for guys" he says.little double standard anyone? as far as biblically, yes, sex before marriage a sin. side note- i have three sons, varying ages, I want them to wait! sex is honestly better in a loving relationship that has trust and forgivness. as far as sex for pleasure being a sin, different people interpret religion in alot of various ways. I have never heard of sex for pleasure being a sin, in fact, i think there is even a place in the bible about pleasing ones spouse.

Me and my husband waited, and it was for our own reasons. Our parents had nothing to do with it. He was a virgin but I was not. I had a son when I was in high school. So I wanted to make sure before I made another mistake and he wanted to wait until he was married for his own spiritual reasons.

What parents would want their kids to have sex?

If you live your life by the book then yeah it's probably wrong for you to have sex for pleasure.

But really, who does that nowawadays unless you're a nun? Even priests have sex with little boys.

Do it when you want and with who u want but with caution and everything will be fine

It is the lady's decision. Parental and religious pressures may try to convince one way of life and attitudes, but everyone has their own mind.
