YES this is normal you will be very emotional as for the gagging i couldnt stand the smell of certain foods and perfumes i also had morning sickness for the whole nine months of every pregnancy and there were five of those as for cramping it is probably because you are still in the beginning of your pregnancy and your period cramps may still be there if it continues then call your doctor it doesnt matter if he doesnt want to see you yet call and voice your concerns and see what he says if you really feel that strongly insist that he see you now you are allowed to feel the way you do and it is your first baby if he doesnt agree find another doctor as soon as you can and if thats not fast enough you can go to the e.r. and they will see you.Try and relax and good luck i wish you all the best and will pray for you and your babies healthy delivery.

Your symptoms are normal. The cramping is probably gas/constipation pains. I have the the same thing and have had them from the start. As long as no bleeding happens, then you should be fine. But if they ever get worse or longer, you should see the doc. I have also been constipated since I became pregnant. You should ask your doctor about taking stool softeners. And the emotions come the hormone changes. And so does the smells that make you gag. I've had them all and am 12 weeks now and they are just starting to go away. Congrats!!!

Same here 6 weeks, CRAMPING A LOT.. Was wondering the same thing. My doctor said no sex when cramping (increases the chances of miscarriage). However, if you feel that something else could be wrong and your doctor won't see you- get a new one.. You want to make sure that everything is ok with your baby.. a couple of weeks from now could be late, IF there was anything wrong (god forbid). About constipation, same here they said it's normal. About crying alot, I've been exactly the same way.. I've turned into such a cry baby that my husband cheers me on when I don't cry (Sad, I know). My doctor said I some women get extremely emotional, so that could be it.
GOOD LUCK! Hope all goes well for you!

I am in the same situation as you, first pregnancy! I am 5 weeks along but my Dr. doesn't want to see me until I am 8 weeks. I have been experiencing some really bad cramping (daily and at random times since I found out that I was Preggie) that feels like I am going to start a really bad period. I called my Doc on it and she said as long as there is no bleeding, your OK. She said it was the stretching of the uterus getting ready for the baby. I haven't felt sick yet but that is probably because I am only at 5 weeks, but I am crying over every little thing. Good Luck and I hope you feel better too!

I'm also about 6 weeks along. That sounds about the same for me, except my morning sickness is pretty much non-existent...some nauseous moments, but not many. I have "cramping" every so often but I find that it's not actually cramps but gas, which from what I understand is a normal pregnancy symptom too.

Everything you're describing sounds normal to me.. get used to those "awful" smells (one whiff of any kind of chinese food and I upchucked during my whole 9 months).. this doesnt sound like the healthiest advice, but try eating Lay's Potato chips in the morning- or whenever you feel ill- I had a nurse suggest it to me, and it really did help. Maybe the salt in it? Id have maybe 5 or 6 chips, and it worked for me. Something to try anyways... Get used to being kinda emotional too honey, you've got lots of changes going on in your body so you're going to feel a lot of ups and downs.
I had some cramping when I was pregnant with my daughter for about 2 to 2 1/2 months. If it gets very painful, or if you bleed.. I say you should go in. But if not, I think you'll be just fine :)

Congratulations, you sound completely normal. i would only worry about the cramping if it get significantly worse, becames constant, or is accompanied by blood. Good luck. My cramping feels about like menstral cramps, but usually not as bad. If for some reason you feel it worsening slightly, I would just get off your feet for a while till it goes away.

Well the first paragraph was normal for me. I felt fine and then all of a sudden all of those hit me. I was sick and tired and couldn't poo.
You may be having cramps because you have to "go" but can't. And you uterus is stretching everyday and you will feel cramps. As long as they aren't extremely bad or you start to bleed your fine, otherwise call your dr.

I was worried when I was as far along as you as well. It's just your ligaments and uterus stretching, preparing itself for the growing baby. If the pain becomes unbearable or is accompanied by bleeding, then you should def. be worried. But for now, you sound ok. If nothing reassures you, then express your concerns to your doctor since he will be getting your money!
