They are unusually thin. Dirt can enter upto the middle of the nails. Why is it so? Am I getting old?

Usually this is one of the signs your body gives you when it has a problem. It could be as simple as nutrition and a lack of collagen, vitamin B5 and boric acid. You can find all of these as well as a lot of other B vitamins and minerals in bee royal jelly. It also has gelatin which is a precursor for collagen. All of these will give you beautiful hair, skin and nails. Just be wary of the "cheap" stuff most have been "watered down" to ensure profitability and just don't work. I would recommend beeroyalproducts.com they have a reputation of being the cheapest in the high quality class. You only have to take a fifth of a teaspoon so it lasts for a long time. The other good thing about it is with all the B vitamins it will give you tons of energy.

There's a nail strengthener that can be bought. I don't know if the brand Sally Hansen is still being sold. My cousin recommends using garlic on your nails. This will harden your nails.
