dry air can cause your skin to become dry and itchy. In your home, use a humidifier to put moisture in the air during the winter and in dry weather.

use a moisturizer that is hypoallergenic (it should say so on the label). The best moisturizers are also the most "gooey." Ointments (or oils) are best, followed by creams, and then lotions. Petroleum jelly (one brand name: Vaseline) is an excellent skin lubricant, but it can be messy to use.

Its winter the weather will make your skin really really dry. Use a rich night cream with vitamin E like the one from bodyshop. And maybe get Eurecin there moisturisers are meant to be wicked. Good luck

the weather can cause it.. sometimes dry air will cause dry skin... you also may be allergic to soaps or bady washes.. possibly the moisterizers... May I suggest useing DOVE moisterizing bar. I love it.. smells good, feels good.. I also use vaseline intensice care lotion .. for extra dry skin, try putting it on in the shower, leaving your pores open a min then after you get out!

Are you drinking at least 64 ounces of water each day? I can definately tell I haven't had enough water by looking at the skin on the backs of my hands. They start to look like lizard skin. Your body needs 64 oz a day to function. It also will help with digestion, just FYI.

My skin is doing the same thing. Drink more water and I starting using cocoa butter lotion. It's so much cheaper than the rest of the stuff and it seems to be working pretty well. But it smells like sun tan lotion which annoys my boyfriend to no end. Doesn't bother me much though!

You can try some rosemary oil and put lotion on right after. Rosemary is great for skin.
