Ignored intelligence more like, I'm afraid. If you're smart about applying ignorance where it's due you're but a cynic. Cynics, more than naively positive people, do make careers - but to really reach the upper echelons in corporate civilisation, you'll need to allow yourself to be wholly engulfed with cynicism. Which will have you evolve from being a cynic, to being a flatliner. You need brains to get somewhere, only if you're lying low. Once a progress has been started, switch your head off.

Yes, I feel it is in people's best interest to be a little ignorant to get by in life, the more blind sided you are the better to cope with such an ugly world. To live in complete denial!
