Definitely my maternal grandmother. She died 10 years ago and never met my children. I was at the age where I would have just started to appreciate an adult relationship with her (she lived 3 states away but we were very close because she lived with my parents for 18 months for financial reasons) and now I regret not spending quality time with her because I was a teenager who did not want to be around parental figures. Whenever I hear that song ONE MORE DAY I think of my grandma and what she may think of me now.

My father. He passed away without having the chance to say goodbye. He was my idol and he never saw me married or his grandchildren or great grandchild. I would love to tell him the things I should have told him before he died. He died just before my 21st birthday and before I took up my first teaching post. I wish he could have shared in my successes and that I could have repaid some of the sacrifices he made for me so that I could receive a higher education than he was ever able to.
I still miss him and think about him every day even after 36 years.

My brother passed away in a car accident on my wedding night, it was very traumatic. Since then I have not visually seen him, but there have been times I have been sure that someone was there and when I became a little spooked I got a certain feeling that there was no danger and a loving spirit was there. Now there was the poltergeist I saw with my own eyes on my ceiling a few nights before his death.

last year my mums friend died, this is the first person who was close to me that died, even though we were not related it had a big effect on me, not in a sad way, kind of weird though, i think of her every day, she was only 50 and she died of cancer, it wasnt a very nice end, i would love to talk to her just once more, i would ask her how she feels watching everyone here, like her grandson and children, another thing i would like to know is what she thought of the funeral, i dont think she realised just how people loved her, over 300 people turned up, it was a lovely but at the same time very sad funeral

I would have my lovely dad back and we'd go to a place near the sea where no one else was and talk all day long. I'd tell him what an amazing dad he'd been and how he made us all laugh and how terribly we all missed him. I often dream that he comes back but doesn't have long to live but we do have chats in my dreams and that's nice.

My Grandpa because I didn't really know him, and he passed away when I was pretty young, so I have no living grandfathers. I would love to talk to him because he had so many cool experiences- being a fireman, a soldier and a business owner.

My Dad, to let him know he has a great grandson, and two new grand children, and so he could talk to my Mum and tell her off for not caring wether she is dead or alive and to make her happy for a while,
