Funny how that even if a Republican is charge there is a call from Democrates for him to resign on the spot before there is even a trail.
Another case of Democrates being the hypocrites they are

The due process must be honored before any sanctions or dismissal of any public official can take place. But they will all try to remove the skid marks off his trousers, before the public has full knowledge of his infractions, to avoid public and International embarrassment. The old covering up game, played by both sides of our government, it does not matter if they are a Democrat or Republican, they all can be repulsive, in their attempts to save face for any particular party..

I doubt that the will try and oust Jefferson,. Politicos of the same party have so much dirt on themselves that they are helping each other vtry to scrape it off before the public finds out.

They have asked him to resign but he refuses. There is no way to force him to go until he has been found guilty of a crime. That hasn't happened.
