What is your favorite(s) band ever? But, I don't mean todays "rock" music like panic at the disco or whatever the hell they call themselves...I mean reall GOOD bands..ever!!

Why is it that lots of great bands have hands down, like rolling stones, beatles, the smiths, the cure, led zeppelin, pink floyd, guns n roses, and black sabbath have hand put downs???? That is not cool whoever is putting those ppl down. Anyways I would have to say Rolling Stones has gotta be the best rock band of all times.

Nirvana. If only Kurt didn't die who knows what could have happened especially with the talent they had. Dave G is still rocking with the Foo Fighters.

The Cure 27 years old this year and they are still amazing. New cd coming this year too.
I find people in their teens and 20's listening to The Cure and seeing a new generation of fans makes me proud but then again if not for The Cure there would be no emo and goth would have faded away into obscurity in the 80's.
