That Bush, Cheney and their NEOCON philosophy have nothing to do with Republican Conservatism of Fiscal prudency, committment to Flag and Country and above all the right of every American to be free under the Constitution.

Bush's policy on national defense is exactly out of the conservative philosophy. Their policy of attacking our enemies, and preventing further attacks is exactly what Reagan would do.
AS far as the domestic agenda, the Republicans have failed to keep the trust of the conservative base by spending like Democrats. They have not kept true to conservative principles on immigration. That's why they lost.
