I think we're gonna need to a common understanding of the word "goal" as it is used here. If by "goal" you mean things like am I honest, kind, humorous, a good friend, tenacious, willful, and the like, then yes. If by "goal" you mean am I where I had expected myself to be in life at the age I am (graduated college, owning a home, begining a family, and that whatnot), then no. I am WHO I wanted and have worked to be, although I am not WHERE I wated and worked to be. You win some, you loose some, right?

Additionally, what's with all these people who say they have achieved ALL of thier goals? Some of the goals I've set I have realized that I actually did NOT want. As a kid, I wanted to change my legal name to Crystal Feather. In retrospect, I am grateful that I never achieved that goal, because with a name like Crystal Feather, the only possible occupations at you disposal are hooker or stripper. So, yea. There you go.

When I was a kid I always wanted to get married, be a mom and stay home (which I owned) and raise my kids. Now I have all of that and I am still not happy. I feel bored and I feel unappreciated. I dont have any skills, I was a dental assistant before I got married but had a major car accident just before I got married and havent gone back to that since and it has been over 7 years so I dont remember enough to go back now. This September my last child will be starting Nursery school so I will have no babies or kids to take care of but I dont know what I want in my life. My hubby works and is very important in the company he works for and he doesn't mean it but makes me feel like he and what he does is more important then me and what I do which doesn't help my self esteem. He works lots of hours and I am with the kids all day and I feel lonely and left out. So Yes I did reach all the goals I had in my life but now I dont know or have any other goals and feel bored and lonely.

well i had lots of goals growing up, and no i didnt achieve all of them. but i did achieve the most important ones. i have a wonderful family. i have 3 beautiful children and the most wonderful fiance' a woman could ever ask for. it took me a while to get here and i went through alot to get here but now that im here i can honestly say ive never been happier. im 30 years old, and my fiance' and i have been together for almost 3 years. i just think your goals change as you get older. i know mine sure have. now my goals are simply to give my kids a good life, and to be able to put them through college. and then my goals for myself are to enjoy a long and prosperous life with my future husband. good question,by the way.

I have accomplished many goals in life. I set daily goals, weekly goals, yearly goals, and life goals. I am in process with my goal of graduating from college, I will be graduating in May. I set a goal two years ago of finding a good paying steady job that I could work while going to college. I found that job and love what I do now. I set goals of learning things - like PhotoShop or HTML, and now thats what I do for a living. All goals are possible, you just have to work for them.

No and i absolutely hate myself for it.

I wanted to be in the music industry and have my own house by the time i was about 24 (now 23, 24 in March). Was hoping to be married and happy but hey ho have a rented house with a B/F and 2 dogs and a 9-5 HR job in a hospital.... not what i thought i'd be doing with my life. I love my B/F very much and can't wait to marry him though.....probably the only good thing out of it has been him and the dogs. I love my Man.

Yes, graduating college was big. Getting married, and staying married. Buying a home, and having two children. The 2nd child was a bonus. Now my goal is to be a great parent, so we'll see how that goes..
