i just turned 18 and i'm kinda freaking out because i think i have way more pubic hair than most girls my age. i joined a gym, and i've only seen a couple of other females naked, but i have way more hair down there than they do. how much is a normal amount?? i have a feeling i have much more hair than most. please help!

Every women has a different amount of pubic hair. Also some women trim their pubic hair or even shave it. The women who had less hair may trim theirs up. You are perfectly normal and if having that much hair bothers you then get a good pair of mustache scissors are trim your pubic hair up a bit.

One word: GENETICS.
You probably have an "average" amount of pubic hair; this means that there are some with more and some with less. BTW, a LOT of women shave, wax or trim their areas, so you really cannot judge against what you've seen.
If you're self-conscious about it, try trimming with scissors - it'll tame that bush down just a little!

having hair down there is completely normal.. some ethnicities have more hair down there than others.. it depends on genes and everything.. if ur unhappy with the way it looks or feels u can trim it, shave it, wax it or anything u feel comfortable but make sure ur doing this for urself and not for someone else...

Oh don't worry about it that's nothing. Everybody has different amounts of hair. Some girls shave or wax therefore they don't have as much as you or they trim every now and then. So there's nothing to worry about sweety

roubina, You do have more hair than most girls. Most girls are either bald or hairless. You should weave all of that hair and make a basket out of it. Then, you should sell that hairy basket for $500.00 on Ebay.

a lot of it depends on your nationality so don't worry too much. feel free to trim it and shape it, and maybe they are doing the same.
