Stress can delay your period, but it's pretty coincidental that it would happen the month you had unprotected sex. I would see your doctor, they can do a blood test. Some women's bodies don't produce enough HCG for pregnancy tests to pick it up until a while past when their period was due. I've heard of women not getting a positive test until they were 4-6 weeks pregnant. But a blood test will tell you, and your doctor can make sure everything is functioning as it should.

Input: BREATH GIRL. They say those preg. tests won't work until after your missed period. Two negative tests, freaking out about being pregnant and a loss in the family? Sounds like stress. Ever hear the wives tale that you won't get pregnant if you concentrate on it? Same thing with your period, I think your anxiety about everything is causing it to be late. Try some yoga, excersizing, or a body masage, relax and let your self just be. Your period will probably come. If you still haven't gotten your period by Feb 20th, see a doctor. :)

I think it could also be the fact that you are under a lot of stress and that has prevent your period for coming!! But if you are feeling more symptoms than that I would go to the doctor and ask him for a blood pregnancy test or if you don't want wait a few more days and re test again with a sensitive test and with the first urine of the morning!! I am sorry for your loss!! Better things will be coming your way soon, try to relax and wish you the best!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

You might not be pregnant and your body is just a little out of wack. Just wait a few more days and try again if you do not get your period.
And seriously, don't have unprotected sex, not only can you risk pregnancy but disease as well. Chin up.

stress sometimes affects ovulation, it postpones it or sometimes you don't ovulate at all. That why it says you have to keep a track when you ovulate, because since the day you ovulate it takes 14 to 16 days, to get your period, if you haven't gotten your period after 18 days since you ovulated, it's very probable you're pregnat. So what I'm trying to say, the key is to know when you ovulate. Good luck!
