I bought this great stuff from Tesco's. You spray the car before the frost sets in on eve, It stops the screens getting frozen and you dont have the old refreeze problem with when you start out on a cold morning. It costs about £2.78 a bottle I think its called Magic somthing or other.... It actually does work I was sceptical when I first bought it but after using it I would recomend it!

Put it in the garage.
Get a tarp, or a sheet of plastic, that you can put over the car and tie down at the corners (so it doesn't blow away). If it snows, it'll stick to that sheet, not the car. Go out in the morning, pull off the sheet, and ta-dah: ice-free car.

So your wife doesn't work. Who cleans the house, does the laundry, cooks the food, does the dishes. watches the kids, goes to the store? To me that sounds like work to me, but of course I am just a woman and to men this isn't work. You get up in the morning, go to work, come home and your day is done. Hers starts and doesn't end until she goes to bed at night. So clean off your own car and be thankful she doesn't pour boiling hot water on you to thaw you out.

Keep the car at home, and use public transport, or, car pool with a friend. Thus you save money and the environment.

Buy a car cover. In emergency, cover the windscreen with newspaper to prevent icing up (only do it whilst the car is parked.............)

Leave the optional brain for those stupid enough to pay for it. Put newspaper under your windscreen wipers for 50p and go to the pub on £24.50.
